π’Prediction Points Calculation
In Pooky, players are ranked on their Boosted Prediction points.
Those are calculated as follows:
Boosted prediction points = Base prediction points * (1 + Fixed boosts) * (1 + Consumable boosts)
Base Prediction Points
Pre-game Odds (delivered by our trusted provider LSPORTS) are used to determine how many Base Points a player wins from each prediction.
When you find the outcome (1-X-2), you receive 20x the odds given.
When you find the exact score, you receive 20x the odds of that score, minus the 1-X-2 value.
To avoid major imbalances linked to predicting very unlikely scores, odds worse than 20:1 will be rounded to 20:1.
Fictional example for Madrid vs Getafe, in the Spanish League.
Let's assume we predict 3:1.

Following the above example:
If the home team does not win, we get 0 points
If the home team wins but not with a 3:1, we get 44 points
If the home team wins with a 3:1, we get 44 + 116 = 160 points
Pooky will consistently oversee the game's health and may adjust the Multiplier as a variable to maintain gameplay balance.
